After staying at this cottage I am confident in saying that your search for a truly wheelchair accessible holiday cottage in over.
Thatch Close Cottages are located in the rolling hills of Herefordshire, just 9 miles from Ross on Wye a great location for relaxing days out and sightseeing with many places of interest literary on your doorstep. Views from the secluded cottage can only be described as outstanding with your own level parking directly outside the cottage and no hassle wheelchair access through the purpose-built wide doors offering level access throughout.
The images above show the views from the cottage as well as from the level courtyard where you can park as well as site out enjoying the amazing views. You may just spot our three Jack Russell dogs that happily roamed free. There are no farmyard animals to worry about apart from two very friendly resident dogs that will most probably stroll round from to greet you.

No expense has been spared to ensure that not only are your wheelchair access needs fully met but they are met in style and luxury.
The bedroom is spacious with full wheelchair access to either side of the beds that can be separated or joined to meet your needs. A good height to get in and out of from a wheelchair position and luxury mattresses for a great nights sleep. The windows from the bedroom are also at a lower height with full consideration given to wheelchair users. State-of-the-art 32 inch TV is included and an electrically operated roof light blind is included for those of you that don’t want to star gaze.
No accessible cottage would be complete without a fully accessible WC and this one goes over and beyond the standard requirements with left and right access to the WC, built in bidet, easy flush system, drop down transfer bars, fully accessible wash basin with lever taps and full wet room facilities including a drop down seat, full support rails and nonslip flooring.
